The 19th edition will take place on September 20-22, 2017 in IEC Crocus Expo, Moscow. Total area of the planned exposition is 12 000 sq.m, and 40% of the space is already rebooked by the main participants of the International textile market.
Germany, Turkey, China, Pakistan have confirmed participation of their national pavilions. Part of the exposition representing Russian companies is also impressive. Already now we can say that this year is remarkable by a number of large Russian manufacturers who have applied for the first time, and even more are expected. Apart from the traditional product groups Heimtextil Russia will present new specialized areas that have appeared in recent years: textile in Contract business, Wallpaper Bar pavilion, Design Laboratory (exposition for surface design) and Digital Print. Along with the general boost in the sectors of household goods, DIY and housing construction this rapid development of exposition is another proof for the market recovery in Russia.
Traditionally Heimtextil Russia is famous for its Fringe porgramme including numerous events for different parts of the audience. Designers and decorators will have a chance to visit Heimtextil Russia Design Academy, where in the specially designed Concept Area famous Russian and European designers will share their professional experience. The leading Russian Schools and Academies of Art and Design will conduct practical workshops for the fair visitors. Professional designers can also take part in the annual Heimtextil Russia design contest.
Together with the diversified programme for designers and decorators further development of b2b programmes and other specialized events is expected.
