Environmentally friendly technologies in the production of home fragrances. Interview with the founder of BAGO home fragrances brand, Anton Mednikov

Tell us about the history of the company, how and why did you come up with the idea of ​​an eco-friendly brand?

The idea of ​​creating our own brand BAGO home appeared simply. We have been distributing home fragrances for 10 years. There are many different things in this market; alas, there are many that are not environmentally friendly and unsafe for both humans and the environment.

That is why we wanted to create a product that would be different: safe for humans and nature. We ditched alcohol and other refined products, developed our own recipe based on a plant solution for diffusers and created pure scents. This formed the basis of our slogan for life: BAGO home - pure scents!

We follow these principles and our new products invented in accordance with this concept. For example, our candles are made from soy wax, and our sachets are made from mineral powder.

In theory, it all looks simple, but in fact, we thought and refined everything for a very long time until the result was completely satisfactory to us. Moreover, even now before launching a product we test it from 6 months to a year to make sure that the fragrance will really "fly".

What is environmentally friendly technologies in the production of fragrances, and how does it affect consumer loyalty. If affects at all?

BAGO home successfully uses environmentally friendly technologies. These include plant components - products created by nature from inexhaustible resources, and not through so-called "dirty" chemical production. Why dirty? Because it wastes the resources of the Earth and pollutes our atmosphere by the process itself. We use technologies that reduce our carbon footprint and try to minimize paper consumption. We hand over the paper used in the production process for recycling.

When it comes to loyalty, its a social choice for each of us. BAGO home as a brand and a company, believes that a product can only be environmentally friendly. There should be no products of everyday use that destroy our planet. This is our motto and value. People should decide how they want to see the world in 50-100 years, where our kids and grandchildren will live. Many of us already decided for reasonable consumption, eco- and human-friendly products. Unfortunately, there are many of those who just ignore this. However, we hope that they will soon make a choice in favor of safety and healthy environment.

What are the main markets where BAGO is represented? If there are any foreign projects, and how difficult is it for a manufacturer to compete in the global market? How competitive is the Russian fragrances market?

BAGO home brand is represented in the USA, Canada, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Great Britain, France, Spain, Italy and Germany, and in the near future, we plan to enter Asian and the Middle East markets. The competition in our industry is very high, with a huge number of manufacturers. In order to be noticed, you need to work hard. Generally, you should do something unique, stand out from the general background, and be faster, stronger and better than your competitors are.

You are participating in the trade fair for the first time. What do you plan to showcase at the stand in September? What will you focus on, what new items will you show?

Yes, we will participate for the first time. We always focus on new products, because people who are familiar with BAGO home come to see something exclusive. And they will get it this year. We have novelties in "Origins", "Aquarelle" and "Mosaic" collection. All collections will feature new products. These are sachets and candles. Moreover, we have prepared several new collections. Innovation in the Russian market! However, I will not reveal all my cards and invite everyone to our booth.

Tell us about an interesting project of the company.

For me all our projects are interesting, otherwise, we would simply not be involved. Therefore, it is difficult for me to highlight something. This year we came up with and implemented many interesting ideas both in design and in fragrances. Nevertheless, one product that we are presenting - a collection of fragrances with neutralizers of unpleasant odors- will surely attract a lot of attention. We developed this project for a very long time, first within the company, and then with our European partners (suppliers of raw materials) and were satisfied with the result.
